| Description | : | Edward D. Hoberman, son of Henry and Alvena Gerke Hoberman, was bom Aug. 17, 1904 in Grant Township. He was baptized Sept. 11, 1904 by Reverend Theo Mattfield at Zion Lutheran Church, rural Storm Lake. He attended school at Coon #3 and Zion Parochial School and was confirmed on March 23,1918 by Reverend Frank Aibrecht at Zion Lutheran Church. On Feb. 10, 1934 he was united into marriage to Helga A. Pedersen at Trinity Lutheran Church, Sioux City, by Reverend Bekhenke. They joined St. Peter Lutheran Church in March of that year.
