Description	:	Funeral services for Michael Ball, 17, and Edward Ball, 15, were held Wednesday, Dec. 4, at 3 p.m. in the Groton High School auditorium. The Rev. Jon Simundson of Emmanuel Lutheran Church officiated. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Gardens. The two youths were killed in a car-truck accident south of Groton Monday morning, Dec. 2, en route to school. Pallbearers were, for Michael, Dale Abeln, Steve Herron, Loren Johnson, Bob McGannon, Scott Sueltz and Ron Westby; and for Edward, Karl Alberts, Mike Harry, Neil Johnson, Jeff Wahl, Chuck Westby and Rich Zimney. Michael Ball was born October 25, 1957, in Aberdeen and was baptized and confirmed in the Emmanuel Lutheran Church. He was a member of the Groton High School football team, the G Club, the National Honor Society, the Groton Ranchers 4-H Club, the Emmanuel Luther League and the Acolytes. Edward Ball was born August 11, 1959, and was baptized and confirmed in the Emmanuel Lutheran Church. He was a member of the Groton High School Band, the Groton High School football team, student manager of the basketball team, a member of the Groton Ranchers 4-H Club, the Emmanuel Luther League and the Acolytes. The boys are survived by their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Ball, Verdon; one sister, Carol, at home; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Jensen, Fort Ripley, Minn.
