He had led a busy, vigorous life. Funeral serviecs will be held Saturday morning at ten o'clock from St Malachy's Church. Interment will be made in the Catholic church cemetery. He is survived by his widow and two small sons; his mother, Mrs Rachel McMahon, Beattie; two brothers and two sisters, J T McMahon, Beattie, Ralph McMahon, Oakland, California, Mrs Mary Kelly, Omaha, and Mrs Laura McMahon, Beattie. Mr McMahon was among the most outstandingly successful of the many young men who have gone forth from this community and gained coveted places for themselves in a busy world. After graduating from Law school he practiced in Iowa. There he became interested in politics, and was made secretray to the governor of the state. Later he was appointed to a responsible position in Washington. The Federal government was enriched by many thousands of dollars through income tax suits in which he represented the government.
