Description	:	Edwin H. Warner Dies: Was Pioneer Marshal, East Palestine, Oct, 26, (1949) Edwin H. Harner, age 94, died at 1 a.m. today at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John Morris, of 140 W. North Ave. Mr. Warner, who had been one of the first village marshals here abour 50 years ago, was found dead on the floor of the bathroom. He had been ill about eight weeks. North Ave. Mr. Warner, who had been one of the first village marshals here abour 50 years ago, was found dead on the floor of the bathroom. He had been ill about eight weeks. A son of Elias and Elizabeth Miller Warner, he was born Aug. 17, 1855 on a farm west of here and later moved to Petersburg. He was a carpenter in that area for many years and came here 66 years ago. He served for many years as secretary of the local carpenter's union, retiring several years ago. He served several terms as village marshal in the early 1900's. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church and former member of the Odd Fellows Lodge and the Knights of Malta. His wife, the former Mary E. Moore, died in 1933. Besides his daughter, Mrs. Morris, he leaves a grandchild and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Van Dyke Funeral Home where friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. His father immigrated to Nebraska. I have yet to locate a grave for Edward's mother.
