Description	:	Edward H. Hanson, age 79 of Kenmare, died Wednesday, March 22, 1989, at Trinity Medical Center of Minot. His funeral was held Saturday, March 25 at 10:00 a.m. at Nazareth Lutheran Church of Kenmare. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in the spring. Officiating for the service was Rev. Charles Taft. He was born on September 9, 1909 at Kenmare, a son of Andrew and Carrie (Johnson) Hanson. He attended rural schools in the Fairbanks Township area of Ward County and farmed there until 1978. He was married to Carol Albrecht on November 20, 1968 at Kenmare. He was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church and had served on the rural fire department for many years. He held offices on the Fairbanks Township Board, and was a member of the Elks, the Eagles, and the Moose Lodge, all of Minot. He is survived by his wife, Carol of Kenmare; sons, Corey and Kevin, both at home; daughter, Becky at home; and a sister, Ethel Bauer of Kenmare. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Holly Ann; and a brother, Ralph. Thompson-Larson Funeral Home of Kenmare handled the arrangements.
