Description	:	Edward Hopkins, 89, of Ellsworth, passed away July 25, 2013. He was born June 6, 1924, the son of Joseph and Myrtle (Nelson) Hopkins in Tilden, Nebraska. Edward was a retired Army veteran, serving in World War II and the Korean War. After retiring from the Army, he opened his own mechanic shop in Lindsborg. On May, 31, 1949, he was united in marriage with Virginia Margaret Ade in Salina, KS. She passed away November 20, 2000. A Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, July, 31, at Trinity United Methodist Church, Lindsborg, with the casket open for viewing one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at Temple Cemetery, Gypsum, KS, with fellowship following the committal at Temple Church, Gypsum. Memorials may be designated for the Hopkins family in care of Christians Funeral Home 103 N. Washington, PO Box 386, Lindsborg, KS 67456.
