Description | : | Edward was the youngest child of Robert Henry Pruden and Nancy Ann (Agens) Pruden. He was born at Dover General Hospital on June 8, 1932. His family resided in Stanhope, NJ, Sussex County. He entered the Air Force in 1952, and the same year married his high school sweetheart, Loretta Ann DiBernard. He was stationed in New Mexico for two years. It was there that he had his first daughter, Nancy in 1954. After his father's sudden death that year, the family returned to Stanhope, NJ.
