McCown Dew, he had worked for Maryville Packing Company, Maryville, before retiring in 1984. He married Bonnie Evelyn Plummer, July 18, 1942, in Atchison, Kansas. McCown Dew, he had worked for Maryville Packing Company, Maryville, before retiring in 1984. He married Bonnie Evelyn Plummer, July 18, 1942, in Atchison, Kansas. Mr. Dew was a 1940 graduate of Burlington Junction, Missouri, High School. he served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Burlington Junction Christian Church; the Nodaway Lodge #470 AF & AM, Maryville; Rosana Chapter #262 O.E.S., Maryville; and James Edward Gray American Legion Post #100, Maryville. He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; three brothers, Paul Dew, Woodrow Dew and George Dew; four sisters, Anna Dew, Velma Gragg, Cynthia Jefferson and Helen Mired; and two granddaughters, Christie Dew and Tara Dew. Survivors include five sons, Ron Dew of Maryville, Terry Dew of Maryville, Kavin Dew of Maryville, Roger Dew of Maryville, and Gary Dew of Omaha, Nebraska; three daughters, Connie McGinness of Maryville, Kay Owens of Maryville, and Deborah Grace of Burlington Junction; 18 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m., Sunday, November 29, at Price Funeral Home Chapel, Maryville. Services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, November 30, at Burlington Junction Christian Church, Burlington Junction, with the Rev. Jack Yates officiating. Burial will be in Nodaway Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Maryville.
