Description	:	Edward "Spanky" Mann, 74, died peacefully in his sleep with his family by his side on Sunday, March 7 at Memorial Hospital. A lifelong Jacksonville resident and graduate of Andrew Jackson High School, he was the son of George and Sabina Mann. Spanky retired from Coca-Cola Bottling Company after many years of service and was preceded in death by his one and only true love, Faye Hogan Mann. Read More	Edward "Spanky" Mann, 74, died peacefully in his sleep with his family by his side on Sunday, March 7 at Memorial Hospital. A lifelong Jacksonville resident and graduate of Andrew Jackson High School, he was the son of George and Sabina Mann. Spanky retired from Coca-Cola Bottling Company after many years of service and was preceded in death by his one and only true love, Faye Hogan Mann. He enjoyed his last years living beside his daughter Jill and her husband Jim on the river at the end of Starratt Road in North Jacksonville and could always be found having breakfast at Terry's with a newspaper in his hand. He is also survived by his daughter Robin and her husband George and four wonderful grandchildren, Jimmy and Jeremy McCann and Kristina and Michael Cavallaro. The family wishes to express their gratitude to the nurses at Memorial for the gentle and loving care they provided their father and also to the wonderful girls at Terry's who always made their dad feel special. Funeral services will be held at 11 am Thursday, March 11, 2010 at Hardage-Giddens Edgewood Funeral Home, 729 S Edgewood Ave., Jacksonville, FL. Interment will follow in Gravel Hill, Riverside Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 pm Wednesday, March 10 at the funeral home.
