Walsh Dr. Walsh, a druggist, was born in Florence, South Carolina, August 26, 1888, son of Travis Spencer and Anns Statia Douglas Walsh. He graduated from the school of Pharmacy of the Medical College of South Carolina in 1912. In 1914 he and the late Marsden C. Anderson founded the Horry Drug Company of Conway of which Dr. Walsh was president at the time of his death. He died November 5th 1955. Walsh Dr. Walsh, a druggist, was born in Florence, South Carolina, August 26, 1888, son of Travis Spencer and Anns Statia Douglas Walsh. He graduated from the school of Pharmacy of the Medical College of South Carolina in 1912. In 1914 he and the late Marsden C. He served in the United States Navy during World War I and was a member of Conway Post No. 11 of the American Legion. He was a member of the Conway Methodist Church and served on the official board. He was a member of the Conway Lions Club SC, Pharmacetuical Assn. the National Association of Retail Druggist, and the Pee Dee Pharmaceutical Assn. He served for six years on the South Carolina Board of Pharmacy. Surviving him include his wife, Sadie Goldfinch Walsh, a son Dr. Edward P. Walsh Jr., a druggist, a daughter Miss Emma Statia Walsh (Since Married) a sister Mrs. James W. Moore of Jacksonville Fla, and a neice Mrs. Alice Statia Moore Goldfinch.
