Mr. Rabon was born in Horry County, a son of the late Wilbur and Isla Shelley Rabon. He was a member of Juniper Bay Baptist Church where he served as past deacon, and was a Sunday School Teacher for the Senior Adults for years. He was U.S. Navy Veteran, and a member of the D.A.V. Mr. Rabon was born in Horry County, a son of the late Wilbur and Isla Shelley Rabon. He was a member of Juniper Bay Baptist Church where he served as past deacon, and was a Sunday School Teacher for the Senior Adults for years. He was U.S. Navy Veteran, and a member of the D.A.V. Surviving are: his wife of 45 years, Faye Rabon of Conway; one son, Edward "Eddie" Rabon, Jr. and wife Vicky of Conway; one daughter, Melissa "Lisa" Norris and husband Barden of Conway; five grandchildren, Amber Rabon and husband Kevin, Edward Cole Rabon, Mendy Rabon, Elijah Norris, and Hillary Rabon; one brother, Ronald Rabon of Florida; one sister, Diane Tyler of Conway; and two beloved nieces, Angie Rabon and Jerri Honosky; his mother-in-law, Frances Hardwick of Conway. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 22, 2007 from Juniper Bay Baptist Church with the Rev. Rodney Hord and Rev. Darrell Langston officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 PM Saturday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Juniper Bay Baptist Church Building Fund, 5265 Juniper Bay Road, Conway, SC 29527.
