Description	:	Obituary for Edward Roy Hansen Mr. Edward R. Hansen of 422 Raehn Avenue, died at his home here Friday night. He was born at Anita, Iowa, on July 5, 1890. At the age of two years he moved with his parents to Bonney, Texas, where he lived until he returned with the family to Iowa four years later. Read More	Obituary for Edward Roy Hansen Mr. Edward R. Hansen of 422 Raehn Avenue, died at his home here Friday night. He was born at Anita, Iowa, on July 5, 1890. At the age of two years he moved with his parents to Bonney, Texas, where he lived until he returned with the family to Iowa four years later. He was graduated from high school at Cedar Falls, Iowa, and from Drake University, College of Law, at Des Moines, Iowa in 1915. He was married to Miss Lulu Green of Richland, Iowa, in 1915. He was engaged in the practice of law at Richland and was also associated with his father-in-law, J.W. Green, in the general merchandise business at that place. In 1920 he engaged in the banking business at Des Moines, Iowa, and from there he came to Orlando in 1925 where he had been engaged in the practice of law until he became ill in the Summer of 1941. He had for many years been active in civic affairs in Orlando and in 1940 was president of the Willkie Club of Orange County. He was on the executive council of Boy Scouts for Central Florida. Besides his widow, Mrs. Lulu G. Hansen, he is survived by one son, John Edward Hansen; his mother, Mrs. Samantha E. Hansen, of Cedar Falls, Iowa; six brothers, Harry, Samuel G., Harlan C., Alfred and Glen Hansen all of Des Moines, Iowa, and Bonney . Hansen of Kansas City, Mo., and one sister, Mrs. Thelma Dresselhuts of Odebolt, Iowa. Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 4 o'clock from Eiselstein-Wigginton Home for Funerals with Dr. A. Fred Turner officiating. The body will be forwarded to Anita, Iowa, for interment.
