Browning, son of the late John L. and Maria Browning, son of pioneer residents of Garrett county, in the 81st year of his age. Browning, son of the late John L. and Maria Browning, son of pioneer residents of Garrett county, in the 81st year of his age. The immediate cause of Mr. Browning's death was pneumonia, although he had been in failing health for several months past. He is survived by one son, B. Webb Browning, an official of the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad, who resides in Baltimore, and three daughters living in the South, children of his first wife, Mary, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Hamill, of Oakland, and by one son and one daughter by his second marriage to Susan Beckman, daughter of the late Rudolph Beckman, of Glendale, Garrett county, both of whom with the mother, survive. Mr. Browning's remains were brought to Oakland from Waynesboro on Tuesday afternoon and were interred in the local cemetery beside those of his first wife after services conducted at the grave by Rev. J. C. Buckley, pastor of St. Paul's M. E. church. All the members of Mr. Browning's immediate family were present at the burial.
