Description	:	Bowman - Edward Thomas Huff, 88, of 2641 Duncan Chapel Road, Bowman, died Friday, Aug. 24, 2012, at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 26, at Thompson Funeral Home Chapel in Orangeburg, with the Rev. Curtis Felkel and the Rev. Thomas Brookshire officiating. Burial will be in Cattle Creek United Methodist Church Cemetery in Branchville. Pallbearers will be Randy Zeigler, Larry Osborne, Leonard Osborne, Stephen Hutto, Dan Cassaday and Mike Cassaday. He was born Feb. 4, 1924, in Orangeburg, the son of the late William H. Huff and the late Jessie Way Huff. As a child, he was a member of Ebenezer Methodist Church and later in life was a member of Cattle Creek United Methodist Church. He was retired from the Regional Medical Center as director of engineering. He was past president of the S.C. Hospital Engineers Association, and a member of the Woodmen of the World and the Farm Bureau. He was preceded in death by a brother, James W. Huff. Survivors include his wife of 60 years, Mrs. Inez Ruple Huff of the home; a son, William T. "Tommy" Huff of the home; a daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis Huff Waters and A. Dewall Waters, Orangeburg; a brother-in-law, Marion D. Ruple and Gladys Ruple; a sister-in-law, Patsy R. Hutto and James R. Hutto, all of Branchville; and a number of nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends at Thompson Funeral Home Inc. in Orangeburg. Visitation will be held 5 to 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 25, at Thompson Funeral Home Inc. in Orangeburg.
