Douglas Loecke officiating and Monsignor Albert Manternach, the Rev Daniel Krapfl and the Rev. Carl Manternach concelebrating. He graduated in 1943 from the former St. Mary's High School, Cascade. He married Millie Trumm on Aug. 16, 1951, in St. Peter's Catholic Church, Temple Hill, rural Cascade. Edwin farmed his Century family farm. He was an Army veteran, having served from 1945 to 1947. Edwin was a member of St. Matthias Catholic Church; a member of the American Legion Post 528, since 1947; and a member of the Jones County Cattlemen's Association, having served as president. Surviving are his wife, Millie Hosch, of Cascade; seven children, Kathy Hosch, of Minnetonka, Minn., Amy (Chuck) Noonan, of Bernard, Lori (Adrian) Knuth, of Anamosa, Carolyn (Jim) Sigmon and Sue Ellen Hosch, both of Marion, Ralph (Julie) Hosch and Peter Hosch, both of Cascade; 17 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; two great-grandchildren; six stepgreat-grandchildren; three sisters, Margaret (Don) Koopmann, of Cascade, Rose Koopmann, of Delhi, and Katherine (Larry) Knipper, of Dyersville; a brother, Harold Hosch, of Cascade; two sisters-in-law, Lois Hosch, of New Vienna, and Julie Hosch, of Cascade; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Mary C. Trumm; two brothers, John P. and George J.; brothers-in-law, John E. Koopmann and Leroy Trumm; and a sister-in-law, Irene Hosch. An Edwin G.
