Description	:	EDWIN L. MOUREY, 87, of New Haven, went to be with his Lord Thursday, July 2, 2009, at his home. Born in Monroe-ville, he was the son of the late Leonard and Eva Mourey. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church-Besancon and American Legion Post 330. He proudly served his country during World War II in the U.S. Navy. He retired in 1985 after 19 years of service with the Kunkle Valve Company. MOUREY, 87, of New Haven, went to be with his Lord Thursday, July 2, 2009, at his home. Born in Monroe-ville, he was the son of the late Leonard and Eva Mourey. He was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church-Besancon and American Legion Post 330. He proudly served his country during World War II in the U.S. Navy. Edwin is survived by his children, Raymond (Sandra) of Indianapolis; Michael (Sherrill) of Hoagland, Gregory (Michelle) of Fort Wayne, Barbara (David) Bego of Fishers, Judy (William) Grimme of Cary, N.C. and Carolyn Mourey of Tampa, Fla.; brother, James Mourey of FortWayne; sisters, Blanche Schaefer and Maxine Rorick, both of Fort Wayne and Pauline Klinker of Payne, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; and his devoted collie, JoJo. He was preceded in death by his wife of nearly 55 years, Lucile, in 2004. Prayer service is 9:15 a.m. Monday at E. Harper & Son Funeral Home, 740 Indiana Hwy. 930 E., New Haven, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Louis Catholic Church-Besancon, 15535 Lincoln Hwy. E., New Haven. Father Steve Colchin officiating. Visitation is from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the the funeral home, with Rosary at 4:30 p.m. Burial in the church cemetery, with Military Honors conducted by American Legion Post 330. Preferred memorials to St. Louis Catholic Church Renovation Fund or Masses.
