Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Carol Ann Pittman Ware and son of the late Edwin James Ware and Gladys Sanders Ware. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Cleve Ware. Read More	Gaffney, SC-- Edwin Lee Ware, 60, of 113 Westland Drive, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 19, 2016 at Mary Black Health System-Gaffney. Born in Gaffney, he was the husband of Carol Ann Pittman Ware and son of the late Edwin James Ware and Gladys Sanders Ware. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Cleve Ware. Mr. Ware was a graduate of Gaffney High School, attended Spartanburg Technical College, and was a retired roofing consultant with Raymond Engineering in Conyers, GA. He was an avid Clemson and Dallas Cowboy fan, loved golf and watching his grandson play football and watching his granddaughter’s clogging competitions. He was a member of Life Spring Church in Boiling Springs where he played guitar in the church band. Surviving in addition to his wife are a son, Trey Parker of New Bern, NC; a daughter, Leslie Ware of Gaffney; a brother, Steve Ware of Englewood, FL; a sister, Denise Smith and husband, Scott, of Gaffney; two grandchildren, Dontae Watkins and Tasia Watkins; numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Cleve Ware. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 3:00 PM on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 3:00 PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Nate Didway officiating. Interment will be in Frederick Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to: Life Spring Church, 301 Stonewood Crossing Drive, Boiling Springs, SC 29316 or The ALS Association, 7499 Park Lane Road, Suite 144, Columbia, SC 29223.
