Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 8 at the Sundberg-Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Madrid. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, south of Madrid. Read More	Edythe Melvina Nordini, 90, passed from this life on Sunday, September 4, 2005 at the Madrid Home in Madrid. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 8 at the Sundberg-Kirkpatrick Funeral Home in Madrid. Interment will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery, south of Madrid. Edythe was born on June 14, 1915 to Charles Julius and Selma Skortaman Peterson in Saskatchewan, Canada. She married Joe Nordini on October 25, 1947 at the Little Brown Church in Nashua, Iowa. She was a former member of the Church Of God Church in Madrid and was a charter member of the V.F.W. Auxiliary. She is survived and lovingly remembered by her husband, Joe Nordini residing at Cedars of the Madrid Homes in Madrid; three daughters, Patty Isolini and Betty Jean Bregar, both of Madrid and Cindy Jo Habekost of San Jose, CA; one sister, Flora Wheeler of Fayetteville, GA; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Edythe was preceded into death by her parents, seven siblings and one grandson. Visitation will be held after 3 p.m. on Wednesday, September 7 at the Sundberg- Kirkpatrick Funeral Home, where the family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
