Description	:	Effie Lee (Taylor) Brewington, age 88, widow of Robert L. Brewington, of Union, SC, passed away Tuesday, December 18, 2012, at Ellen Sagar Nursing Home. Mrs. Brewington was born in Woodruff, November 27, 2012, a daughter of the late Clyde Backman Taylor, Sr. and Eppie (Bragg) Taylor. Retired from Conso Products, she was a member of Fairforest Baptist Church and the "Young at Heart" group. Surviving are a daughter, Robbie B. Mrs. Brewington was predeceased by a son, Kenny Brewington; four sisters: Mable Bagwell, Sybil Hendricks, Betty Dillard and Jolene Cooke; and three brothers: Clyde B. Taylor, Jr., Frank Taylor and George Taylor. Funeral services were held 3:00 PM Thursday, December 20, 2012, at Fairforest Baptist Church conducted by Rev. Allen Gregory, Rev. Jim Cunningham and Rev. Brian Bishop. Burial was in the church cemetery. Active pallbearers were Reggie Taylor, Barry Taylor, Eric Taylor, Tim Dillard, David Brewington and Scott Brewington. Members of the Ladies #3 Sunday School Class and members of the "Young at Heart" group of Fairforest Baptist Church were asked to sit in a group. Visitation was held 1:00-2:30 PM Thursday at the church prior to the services. Memorials could be made to Camp Kemo, Children's Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders, Seven Richland Medical Park Dr., Suite 203, Columbia, SC 29203. S.R.
