She was a member of the Methodist church. She came to Cherry County with her husband and family in a covered wagon and settled on a homestead in the year of 1909. Most of her life was spent south of Cody raising her family. Later she sold her home and moved to Cody. She departed this life March 28,1947, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Murry at Scottsbluff.
