She had been in the hospital since Thursday. She was born at Cedar Rapids May 4, 1915, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Ferreter. She was graduated from Marion high school and completed the elementary curriculum at Iowa State Teachers college, Cedar Falls, in 1935. In college she was a member of Kappa Delta Pi and the Purple Arrow, an honorary group. she won state oratorical and speech contests while in high school. Mrs. Albaugh taught two years at Wellsburg before coming to Tipton in 1937. She taught in sixth grade until 1944 and taught in junior high since. She and Theodore Albaugh were married in June, 1942. She is survived by her husband; her mother, Mrs. Margaret Ferreter, Marion, and three brothers, Edward and Richard, Marion, and John , California.
