Eileen Healy was born March 16, 1922, in Colfax County, to Jerry and Lillian (Lambrecht) Grady She attended school at District 7 in the Dublin area and graduated from Schuyler High School in 1935. In 1938, she attended 4-H Club Congress in Chicago. She was employed by AAA and also at Folda Insurance Agency & Federal Savings and Loan. On May 22, 1943, she married Joseph T. Healy, at St. Patrick's Church in Dublin. During WWII, while Joe was overseas, she was employed as a credit manager for Marson's in Fremont. In 1946, following the war, they moved to a farm northeast of Schuyler. In 1981, they retired and moved into Schuyler. Eileen was a member of Divine Mercy Parish- St. Augustine's Catholic Church, Just Pals 4-H, Grandview Extension Club, Little Flower Altar Society, Women of Divine Mercy, Mother Cabrini Study Club, and taught religion for several years. She was an Altar Society officer, served on the parish council, was an Archdiocesan Pastoral Council delegate, lector at Mass, Co-chairman of the Red Cross Bloodmobile, officer of Meals on Wheels and was active in the Alegent-Creighton Hospital Auxiliary in Schuyler. Eileen enjoyed knitting, counted cross stitch, and above all, enjoyed time spent with her family. She is survived by two daughters, Kathryn (Allen) Cudly, of Aurora, Patricia (Allan) Kassmeier, of Fremont; four sons, Thomas Healy, of Schuyler, James (Pat) Healy, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, John (Judy) Healy, Robert (Sue) Healy, all of Schuyler; 14 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, on April 26, 1999; and granddaughter, Jessica Healy, on June 24, 1983.
