She was the daughter of Wallace and the late Jessie Price Long. On November 17, 1942, she married Ralph Long, who survives. Eileen was reared in the Cantril community and was an active worker in the young people's society of the Christian church for several years. At the time of her death she was a loyal member of the Ft. Madison; her father, Wallace Robinson, Ft. Madison; three brothers, Stanley Robinson, Bloomfield, J.C. Robinson, Milton, and Vern Robison(sp), Keosauqua; several nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held at the Cantril Christian Church, Tuesday, July 1st at 2:00 p.m. Herbert C. Shaw, minister, officiated, assisted by the Rev. Frank M. Marler, minister of the Ft. Madison Christian church. Mrs. Jack Madden and Mrs. Rex Robertson sang, accompanied by Mrs. H.C. Shaw. Burial in Maple Grove cemetery. Source: Van Buren Co.
