Description	:	Father, Elbert Arthur Crites Mother, Rosalie Brake Norris Crites, age 91 of Aberdeen died on Wednesday, October 20th, in the home of his grandson, Jeffrey Crabbe and his wife Toni, from Alzheimer's. He was born near Clarksburg, W.Va. to Rev. and Mrs. E.A. Crites. When Norris was a sophomore in high school, his father was transferred to a church in Mt. Lake Park, near Oakland, MD. Read More	Father, Elbert Arthur Crites Mother, Rosalie Brake Norris Crites, age 91 of Aberdeen died on Wednesday, October 20th, in the home of his grandson, Jeffrey Crabbe and his wife Toni, from Alzheimer's. He was born near Clarksburg, W.Va. to Rev. and Mrs. E.A. Crites. When Norris was a sophomore in high school, his father was transferred to a church in Mt. Lake Park, near Oakland, MD. It was there in high school that he met Loretta who became his wife some years later. After moving to Aberdeen he worked on Aberdeen Proving Ground for 3 years. Norris then became a Natural Resources Policeman and worked for the Department of Natural Resources for 30 years, retiring in 1984. He then went into security at Harford Memorial Hospital for 10 years. Norris is survived by his wife Loretta of 70 years; daughters, Deanna Tennis and husband Gary of Perryville and Marsha Gerdom and husband Bruce of Aberdeen; grandchildren, Jeffrey, Steven, and Darrin Crabbe, Tami Burdette Feerrar, Michael and Brian Burdette and 9 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends in the family owned Tarring-Cargo Funeral Home, P.A. on Monday, October 25 from 11am to 1pm at which time a funeral service officiated by Rev. Merritt Schatz and Rev. James Riddle will be celebrated. Interment will follow in Harford Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Grove Presbyterian Church, 50 E.
