Description	:	Elda Selena Robar, 67, of North River, passed away Friday, March 7, 1986, at the Dawson Memorial Hospital, Bridgewater, after a short illness. She was born at North River, the daughter of the late Harlen and Lehalia Acker. She is survived by her husband, Elwood James; two sons, Gordon and Chester of North River; three daughters, Frances (Mrs. David Carter), Berwick; Leona Hyson of Colpton; and Vivian Robar of Watford; one sister, Evelyn (Lena) Daniels of North River; 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was born at North River, the daughter of the late Harlen and Lehalia Acker. She is survived by her husband, Elwood James; two sons, Gordon and Chester of North River; three daughters, Frances (Mrs. David Carter), Berwick; Leona Hyson of Colpton; and Vivian Robar of Watford; one sister, Evelyn (Lena) Daniels of North River; 13 grandchildren and six great grandchildren. She was predeceased by an infant daughter; a sister, Dorothy; three brothers, Asaph, Clyde, and Earl. The body rested at Langille's Funeral Home in New Germany. Funeral was held Sunday, March 9, 1986 in St. Paul's Lutheran Church, North River, of which she was a member, Rev. Richard Weaver officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Flowers were from the family only; donations to be made to St. Paul's Lutheran Church.
