Description	:	Eldon Brundage, 58 of Grand Island died Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at home with his wife, children and grandchildren by his side. Services will be 10:30 Saturday at All Faiths Funeral Home. Pastor Darrell Holzinger will officiate. Burial will be in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery near Cairo. Mr. Brundage was born October 23, 1954 in rural Hall County near Cairo the son of Cecil and Mary (Gascho) Brundage. Survivors include his wife, Lanette; son and daughter-in-law, Guy and Nellie Stienike; daughters, Lindsey Newlon and Kristyn Newlon all of Grand Island; his mother Mary Brundage of Cairo and sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Chet Castor of Grand Island, Elaine and Ron Schweitzer of Grand Island and Ruth and Al Hill of Broken Bow. Those also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Lorionah, Angelica and Maeve and soon to be blessed with his fourth grandchild; and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father. Eldon was raised on the family homestead near Cairo. He graduated from Centura High School, class of 1973. Following graduating from school he continued farming and ranching on the family farm until the fall of 2012. He was united in marriage to Lanette Stienike on October 31, 2000. Eldon had a strong faith with his Lord and Savior. Some of his enjoyments included auctions, collecting antiques, John Deer collector, Husker fan, cruising in his classic cars but most of all, spending time with his children and grandchildren.
