His obituary follows: Eldon Dean Ford, youngest son of Eldon and Ola Ford, was born near Guthrie Center on Sept 7 1929 and passed away at their home on Wednesday evening Aug 6, 1930 at the age of ten months and 30 days. Eldon leaves to mourn his going beside his parents four sisters, Luine, Dolores, Jennie and Enid, and one brother Bernard; His grandparents Mr & Mrs Austin Ford and Mr and Mrs E Brady, and numerous other relatives. Little Eldon was sick only a week, but even a strong healthy body was not able to stave off the pangs of disease. He was patient in his affliction, taking his medicine and nourishment from a cup as long as he had strength to do so. His little life was short, but who knows but that he has accomplished much. His powers are unseen and unfelt as yet and will only be revealed by the time of years. He has gone on before and leads hosts with his beckoning hand. Card of Thanks Word cannot express the feeling we have for those who so feelingly helped in every way during the illness and death of our treasured baby.
