He was born November 13, 1929 in Gerald, Ohio to the late Henry and Emilie (Gerken) Behnfeldt. On November 19, 1953, he married Marjorie Dew at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon. She preceded him in death on June 15, 2014. Eldor worked for Nickels Bakery as a driver and salesman up until his retirement in 1991. He was in US Army during the Korean War. Read More	Eldor Behnfeldt, 85, of Napoleon, Ohio died Sunday afternoon, June 14, 2015 at his residence. He was born November 13, 1929 in Gerald, Ohio to the late Henry and Emilie (Gerken) Behnfeldt. On November 19, 1953, he married Marjorie Dew at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon. She preceded him in death on June 15, 2014. Eldor worked for Nickels Bakery as a driver and salesman up until his retirement in 1991. He was in US Army during the Korean War. He was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church, Napoleon. He also belonged to the AMVETS, VFW, American Legion, and Teamsters 20. Eldor had a great sense of humor, he enjoyed visiting with friends and family. He had a great love for his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is survived by children Diane (Doug) Koester, Carol (Ed) Lazenby and Dennis (Kimberly) Behnfeldt, all of Napoleon; grandchildren, Jamie (Jason) Halley, Jennifer Lazenby, and Brandon (Kara) Behnfeldt; great grandchildren, William Behnfeldt, and Aurora Jade Halley; step great grandson, Alec Halley. He was preceded in death by infant grand-daughter, Brooke Behnfeldt; siblings Elmer Behnfeldt, Henry Behnfeldt, Marie Davis, Donald Behnfeldt, Walter Behnfeldt, and infant brother and sister.
