Description	:	Eldora Kleinwolterink, 86, of Sioux Center died Wednesday, May 12, 2004, at Sioux Center Community Nursing Facility. Services were held on Saturday, May 15 at 10:30 a.m. at First Reformed Church in Sioux Center. The Rev. Roger Voskuil officiated. Burial was at Memory Gardens Cemetery under the direction of the Memorial Funeral Home in Sioux Center. Eldora was born Dec. 3, 1917, the daughter of Henry and Allie (VanPutten) Huitink. On June 9, 1943, she married Harold Kleinwolterink at Renton, Wash, where he was stationed during World War II. The couple lived in various locations while he was in the service. They settled on a farm near Sioux Center wheret hey raised their six children and one foster daughter. In 1984, they retired and moved to their home in Sioux Center. Eldora loved music. She was a talented pianist and vocalist. For many years she sang as a member of the Farm Bureau Women's Chorus, now the Sioux County Chorus. Her musical talents carried over to her church. As a member of First Reformed Church, she sang in the church choir and in a ladies trio. She also was a member of Lydia Circle. Over the years she enjoyed doing handiwork. Her family now cherishes the many afghans and handmade items they received from her. Survivors include her husband Harold of Sioux Center; six children and their spouses, Loren and Ann Kleinwolterink, Owen and Helen Kleinwolterink and Rochelle and Harlan Vande Hoef, all of Sioux Center, Evan and Sue Kleinwolterink and Wayne and Vicky Kleinwolterink, all of Minneapolis, Minn, and Doreen and Dan Kraayenbrink of Pella; her foster daughter, Diane Larson of North Dakota; 24 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Everna Vander Schaaf of Sioux Center and Wilma Mouw of Orange City; a brother and his wife, Willard and Beit Huitink of Ireton; two brothers-in-law, Pete Kleinwolterink and Warren Kleinwolterink and his wife Joey, all of Orange City; a sister-in-law, Marge Kleinwolterink of Orange City; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and a grandson, Joshua Kraayenbrink. Memorials may be directed to CHE ARS Home Health and Hospice. Sioux County Capital-Democrat 2004-05-20.
