Description	:	Eldora O. "Tudy" Alexander, 92, Minot, formerly of Tolley, died Wednesday, December 7, 2011 in a Minot hospital. Eldora Ones was born April 10, 1919 in Tolley, ND to Christian and Edith (Swenson) Ones. She was raised on the family farm and graduated from Tolley High School in 1937. Eldora then attended cosmetology school in Minot and sang on KPLM Radio. On May 12, 1940 Eldora married Leland Alexander in Minot, ND and resided on the Alexander farmstead in Roosevelt Township, east of Tolley, ND, until 1948 when they moved into Tolley. Eldora Ones was born April 10, 1919 in Tolley, ND to Christian and Edith (Swenson) Ones. She was raised on the family farm and graduated from Tolley High School in 1937. Eldora then attended cosmetology school in Minot and sang on KPLM Radio. On May 12, 1940 Eldora married Leland Alexander in Minot, ND and resided on the Alexander farmstead in Roosevelt Township, east of Tolley, ND, until 1948 when they moved into Tolley. Eldora enjoyed the outdoors and helping on the farm. She hauled meals to the field for many years. She canned fruit and jellies and baked bread into her 80s'. The grandchildren went to her house after basketball practice to have a slice of her freshly baked bread and often a friend or two accompanied them and enjoyed the treat too. Leland passed away on March 29, 2004. Eldora continued to live in Tolley until 2009, when she moved to Edgewood Vista in Minot. Eldora was a life-long of Evangelical Lutheran Church in Tolley, where she taught Sunday school for many years. Eldora was a 60 year cancer survivor. Those who shared in her life, Children, Paul (Terry) Alexander, Tolley; Donna (Ron) Hansen, Minot; and Larry (Mary Lou) Alexander, Tolley; seven grandchildren, Jana (Mike) Love, Heidi (Chris) Huriras, Scott (Joyce) Hansen, Tim Hansen, Rochelle (Kasey) Hudson, Tom (Jerilyn) Alexander and Margy (Ross) Hanson; 17 great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Eldora was preceded in death by her husband Leland; her parents; brothers, Ivan and Ordan Ones; sister, Vivian Knutson. Funeral: Saturday, December 10, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Evangelical Lutheran Church, Tolley, ND.
