Description	:	Eleanor Ussery Robinson, 94, of Saint Matthews, SC and widow of the late Peter B. Robinson Jr., passed away November 7, 2015 at the Calhoun Convalescent Center. She was born October 17, 1921, in Aiken, SC to the late Robert Fulton Ussery and Ruth Bunch Ussery. She was a graduate of Aiken High School. She worked as a farm consultant with the Farm Service Office (ASCS) in St. Matthews until retirement. Later she was a volunteer for The Regional Medical Center. Read More	Eleanor Ussery Robinson, 94, of Saint Matthews, SC and widow of the late Peter B. Robinson Jr., passed away November 7, 2015 at the Calhoun Convalescent Center. She was born October 17, 1921, in Aiken, SC to the late Robert Fulton Ussery and Ruth Bunch Ussery. She was a graduate of Aiken High School. She worked as a farm consultant with the Farm Service Office (ASCS) in St. Matthews until retirement. Later she was a volunteer for The Regional Medical Center. She was a life long member of St. Matthews Presbyterian Church where she had been a pianist, church organist and Sunday School teacher. She loved participating in church activities such as the Women of the Church, Mary Wannamaker Circle and the annual church bazaar. Grandma Eleanor loved spending time with her family; always having ice cream ready for any occasion and attending the sporting events of her children and grandchildren. Survivors include; two sons: James B. (Jimmie) Robinson (Cathy) of Sumter, Frederick W. Robinson (Betty Rose) of St. Matthews; seven grandchildren: Jody, Mandy, Trish, Bec, Andrew, Greg, Taylor; and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 11 AM on Tuesday, November 10, 2015 at St. Matthews Presbyterian Church with Reverend Michael Anderson officiating. Burial will follow in West End Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church fellowship hall one hour prior to service. Memorials may be sent to St. Matthews Presbyterian Church or charity of ones choice.
