Eleanor Delaine (Clatanoff) Bloedorn was born February 20, 1924 at Howells, NE to Ben and Lizzie (Broekemeier) Clatanoff. She was baptized at St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Howells, NE by Rev. Rudolph Norden, attended Cuming County Rural Schoo and St. John's Parochial School, where she was confirmed in the Lutheran faith. In 1941, she graduated from Wisner High School and taught in Cuming County rural schools. On May 14, 1946, she was united in marriage to Arthur Bloedorn at St. John's Lutheran Church of rural Howells, NE. Arthur and Eleanor lived on a farm south of Wisner. A few years after Arthur passed away on January 15, 1994, Eleanor moved to Woodland Circle Apartments, where she lived until the Lord called her home. She was a faithful member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wisner, NE. They were blessed with three children, Brenda, Bruce, and Lance. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, grandson-Calen Bloedorn, two brothers-Gilbert and Ewald Clatanoff, one sister-Regina Meyer. She leaves to mourn her three children and their families- Brenda and husband Lyle Stewart of Tempe, AZ and family Alise and husband Mark Bolte and children-Sydney, Blake & Cole Andrea and husband Gregg Rice and children Eleanor & Clara Bruce and his wife Emma Bloedorn of Wisner, NE and family Dillon and wife Ruth Bloedorn Dustin and wife Cielo Bloedorn Lacey and husband Nathan Panko and children-Wyatt, Weston & Willa Belle Tanner Bloedorn Lance and his wife Cindy Bloedorn of Wisner, NE and family Landon Bloedorn Carling Bloedorn Connor Bloedorn Brother-Duane and wife Doris Clatanoff of Tucson, AZ Sisters-Dolores Horst of Wisner, NE Arlene Rabe of Omaha, NE Marcy Tonjes of Pender, NE Sisters-in-law-Arlene Clatanoff of Wisner,NE, Herda Brand of Wisner, NE and Dorothy Doescher of Beemer, NE.
