Born July 16, 1939, in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Floyd Oren "F.O." Brannon and Gladys Sue (Powell) Brannon. She was first married to the late William Sydney "Jack" McCarley, Sr. and then to the late Charles Edwin Wyatt. Retired from Spartan Mills, she was a member of Beaumont United Methodist Church. Visitation was 7:00-9:00 p.m. Thursday, May 5, 2005, at Floyd's Greenlawn Chapel. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, May 6, 2005, at Beaumont United Methodist Church, conducted by the Rev. Ed Traxler, Jr. Burial was in Sunset Memorial Park. Memorials could be made to Mobile Meals Service, P.O. Box 416, Spartanburg, SC 29304; or to Hospice Special Needs Fund, 120 Heywood Avenue, Suite 300, Spartanburg, SC 29302.
