Description	:	Hoxie -- Eleanor Kennedy, 80, died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2002, at Sheridan County Hospital. She was born July 17, 1922, in Antonino to John and Dorothy (Dreher) Krannawitter. She graduated from Hoxie High School and attended Marymount College in Salina. She was a school teacher in southern Sheridan County for two years. Survivors include three sons, Max, Hoxie, David, Mulvane, and Dan, Edmund, Okla.; two daughters, Sue Harter, Colby, and Jan Dolan, Sedalia, Colo.; six sisters, Rose Mannebach, Colby, Elizabeth Berens, Colby, Sister Caroline Krannawitter, Concordia, Ruth Hoff, Ottawa, Mary Ann Keil, Hays, and Pauline Steadman, Phoenix; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Al, Willie, and Eddie Krannawitter, and a sister, Alice Pratt. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Frances Catholic Church, Hoxie, with Father Ben Saw officiating; burial in the church cemetery. A vigil service will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Mickey-Leopold Chapel, Hoxie. Visitation will be until 8 p.m. today, and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
