Read More	Eleanor Mae McElfish October 28, 1918 - November 7, 2011 Cumberland, MD - Eleanor Mae McElfish, 93, of Cumberland, MD, passed away Monday, November 7, 2011, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center. Born October 28, 1918, in Cumberland, MD, Mrs. McElfish was the daughter of the late Richard L. Taylor and Nora Mae (Taylor) Taylor. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Roscoe M. McElfish; a brother, Richard L. Taylor; a sister, Virginia Taylor; and was the last surviving member of her immediate family. A graduate of Allegany High School, Class of 1936, Eleanor was a homemaker and a member of the Centre Street United Methodist Church. She was also a member of the Ladies Shriner; the Order of the Eastern Star; the Women's Civic Club; and the Daughters of the Nile. Eleanor is survived by her son, Richard M. McElfish and his wife, Polly, Richmond, VA; her daughter, Sandra Carol Wondolowski and her husband, George, Chicago, IL; her grandchildren, Peter Wondolowski; and Anne Repo and her husband, Geoff, all of Chicago, IL; Amanda Pennock and her husband, Mike, Reston, VA; R. Hunter McElfish and his wife, Melissa, Ashburn, VA; and one great granddaughter, Sydney Repo, Chicago, IL. Friends were received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, on Sunday, November 13, 2011, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. and from 6:00 P.M., to 8:00 P.M. A funeral service was conducted at the Centre Street United Methodist Church on Monday, November 14, 2011, at 11:00 A.M. with Reverend Ann Atkins officiating. The family also received friends at the church one hour prior to the service. Interment was in Hillcrest Memorial Park. The family requested that memorial contributions be made to the Centre Street United Methodist Church, 217 North Centre Street, Cumberland, MD 21502. ********************************************************** Adams Funeral Home **********************************************************
