She was the daughter and youngest child of Harry and Anna (Kaster) Bramley. She attended country school through the 8th grade and graduated from Little Rock High School in 1944. Following her education, she helped on the family farm. On March 3, 1955, Eleanor was united in marriage to Henry M. (Heinie) Kruger in Ellsworth. (Kruger) Aning was born on Monday; August 9, 1926 in Elgin Township, Lyon County, Iowa. She was the daughter and youngest child of Harry and Anna (Kaster) Bramley. She attended country school through the 8th grade and graduated from Little Rock High School in 1944. Following her education, she helped on the family farm. On March 3, 1955, Eleanor was united in marriage to Henry M. (Heinie) Kruger in Ellsworth. They lived in Ellsworth for 6 years before moving to a farm northwest of Little Rock in 1961. Heinie died on March 27, 1965. Eleanor stayed in rural Little Rock for the next 30 years, moving to Ellsworth in 1995. On December 10, 1998, Eleanor was united in marriage to Menno Aning of Luverne. They made their home on Menno's farm south of Luverne until his death on March 2, 2006. In September of 2006, Eleanor became a resident of Parkview Manor Nursing Home in Ellsworth. Eleanor V. (Kruger) Aning, age 83, passed away on Friday; April 2, 2010 at Parkview Manor at Ellsworth; Nobles County, Minnesota. Those left to mourn her passing are: one son, Greg and his wife Peggy Kruger of Ellsworth, and three grandchildren: Joe Kruger and Glen Kruger of Worthington, and Sarah Wielocha and her husband Paul of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Eleanor was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Henry, an infant son Terry, her husband Menno, four brothers: Leslie, Donald, Clarence, and Mid Bramley, and three sisters: Beatrice Janssen, Mae Pope, and Evelyn Perusse. May they rest in peace. Visitation will be from: 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with the family present from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday; April 5, 2010 at the First Presbyterian Church in Little Rock, Iowa. Funeral services will begin at: 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday; April 6, 2010 at First Presbyterian Church at Little Rock, Iowa with the Reverend Scott Burdsall, officiating. Interment will be at the Pleasant View Cemetery in Lyon County, Iowa. The Jurrens Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
