Ia Obituaries Forum Eli Willis Scotton was born 1-13-1868 in Pittsburg, Ia. to Eli Willis and Sarah Hellyer Morrison Scotten and died at his home in Milton, Ia. May 25th.1917, being at the time of his death, 49 years, 4 months and 12 days. He was united in marriage to Miss Rosa Hollen, Nov. 1, 1893, and to this union were born seven children, six of whom survive their father. Deceased spent most of his life near Pittsburg, Ia. Van Buren Co. Mr. and Mrs. Scotton moved to Milton about two years ago. He leaves to morn a wife, six children, four brothers and two sisters. Funeral services were held in the Pittsburg church, Saturday afternoon May 26, 1917, conducted by Rev. B. G. Hankins, of this place. Interment in the Pittsburg cemetery next to the grave of his mother Sarah.
