Description	:	Funeral service was held on Thursday, March 17, for Mrs. Marie Elise Woebbecke of Seward who died March 14, 1960. Rev. L. W. Heidemann officiated at the 2 p.m. service at St. John's Lutheran church. Burial was in St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran church cemetery near Seward. Marie Elise Woebbecke, the daughter of Louis Rattemeyer and Louise Jaeger, was born July 4, 1882 at Essen, Germany. In 1900 she emigrated to the United States and came to Seward county. Marie Elise Woebbecke, the daughter of Louis Rattemeyer and Louise Jaeger, was born July 4, 1882 at Essen, Germany. In 1900 she emigrated to the United States and came to Seward county. Here she was engaged in domestic work until her marriage to Frederick Feigion on May 9, 1907. Two children, both of whom survive her, were born. The couple lived on a farm south of Seward until the death of Mr. Feigion on April 1, 1915. In 1926 she moved with her children to a farm place southeast of Seward. She was married to Carl Woebbecke Sept. 22, 1927. He died on Oct. 17, 1934. She made her home with her son Walter until the time of her death. Her health began to fail about a year ago. She became seriously ill on Sunday, March 13, and passed away on Monday evening, March 14, at the age of 77 years. Three sisters and one brother preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Walter of Seward, one daughter, Mrs. Amanda Schrader of Seward, one son-in-law Ernest Schrader, and one grandson, Donald Schrader; three sisters, Johanna Rattemeyer of Lincoln and Anna Marting and Louise Rattemeyer in Germany. Pallbearers were Arthur Hanseling, Julius Hanseling, Albert Feigion, David Wren, Walter Hanseling, Lawrence Woebbecke. Seward County Independent, Seward, NE, Wed, March 23, 1960
