Description	:	Death of Mrs. Adline Gaddy, a Former Anson Lady. Died, at Steele's Mill, May 22, 1906, Mrs. Adline Gaddy, in the 70th year of her age. She ws the relict of the late Davis L. Gaddy. This noble and good woman was born and reared in Anson county, being the daughter of the Rev. William Tice. She gave her heart to God and was received into Deep Creek church about 40 years ago, and had lived up to the full duty of a Chrisitan. Died, at Steele's Mill, May 22, 1906, Mrs. Adline Gaddy, in the 70th year of her age. She ws the relict of the late Davis L. Gaddy. This noble and good woman was born and reared in Anson county, being the daughter of the Rev. William Tice. She gave her heart to God and was received into Deep Creek church about 40 years ago, and had lived up to the full duty of a Chrisitan. It has been the pleasure of this writer to have been personally acquainted with this good woman for 50 years, and she was an affectionate helpmate to her husband, always ready to obey, always cheerful, never complaining. To her dear children, which she had left to her care by the death of her husband in 1882, she has so managed to raise them up that she is entitled to all respect due any mother. Aunt Adline, as she is better known to me, has been a great sufferer for three years, but she bore it like all true Christians do, being always cheerful. All of her wants were supplied by her children, who were always ready to do anything that could be done for a loving mother. There were never more affectionate children. She has gone home-to a home not made with hands, eternal in the heavens. The remains will be laid to rest at Misspha church today at 2 o'clock. Peace to her ashes. Cordova, May 23rd. E. G.
