Description	:	Elisa Ann Platner was born in the state of Iowa on September 14th, 1851, and came to the end of this life at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Oliver Michael of Junction City, Kansas, November 5th, 1927. She had reached the age of 75 years 1 month and 22 days. At the age of 17 in 1868 she was married to Joseph E. Tabler, who was then a widower with 4 children. Read More	Elisa Ann Platner was born in the state of Iowa on September 14th, 1851, and came to the end of this life at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Oliver Michael of Junction City, Kansas, November 5th, 1927. She had reached the age of 75 years 1 month and 22 days. At the age of 17 in 1868 she was married to Joseph E. Tabler, who was then a widower with 4 children. She at once assumed the responsibility of mothering the children who had been left without a mother. To Joseph & Eliza five children were born. To both her own children and the step-children she was a faithful and devoted mother. In 1896 Joseph E. Tabler died and in the year 1913 she was married to Mr. S. S. Busby. Mr. Busby lived until 1916 when he too passed away. Since that time she has made her home with some of the children. The last seven years of Grandma Busby's life were lived with difficulty since the body in which she lived began to give out. She was bedfast the last fifteen months at the home of her daughter at Junction City, Kansas. She leaves to mourn her death four children and three step-children. Six grandsons acted as pallbearers, Rev. L. E. Griffith of Hays conducted the funeral services, assisted by Rev. Urpuhart and Rev. Westover. The music was furnished by the Victor male quartett. She was laid to rest by the side of her first husband in the Grand Centre cemetery. A full obituary was published November 14, 1927 in The Waldo Advocate
