Besides her husband, Mrs. Myers leaves two sons, Augustus Kocher of Hominy, Okla., and Frank Myers of the Monett community; and a daughter, Mrs. Sophia Haines, also of the Monett neighborhood. Funeral services, in charge of the Rev. Edwin G. Michael, pastor of the Sedan Christian church, will be held in the Monett church at 2 o'clock tomorrow afternoon, while burial will be in the Monett cemetery. The body will remain at the R. I. Buckles funeral home in Sedan until the funeral hour. The funeral of Mrs. Eliza Myers was held in Monett Thursday noon, December 7 at 2 o'clock. Tbe funeral was conducted by Rev. Edwin G. Michael, pastor of the Christian church at Sedan. The music was rendered by Mrs. Clayton Adams, Mrs. Lyle Gilman, Mrs. Helen Wells, Mrs. Herbert Luckytar, and Lee Millison. Interment was made in the Monett cemetery. Eliza Ellen Burton was born 1854 in Rochester, Indiana, and departed this life December 5, 1933 at the age of 79 years, months and 26 days. She was the daughter of Raymond and Susie Burton. She came, to Kansas when but a small child, She lived in the vicinity of Mt. Vernon with her parents until she was united in marriage to David Kocher in the year 1879. To this union three children were born, August Kocher of Hominy, Okla.; Frank Kocher, Sedan, Kansas, and Mrs. Sophia Haines, Sedan, Kansas. David Kocher died July 19, 1901. August 21, 1918, the deceased was united in marriage to Henry Myers. Mrs. Myers is survived by her husband, the three above sons, and two stepsons, Jess Kocher, Seminole, Oklahoma and Mike Kocher, Fisher, New Mexico, also thirteen grandchildren.
