Anderson died in 1863, "Granny" was 37 years old, and had eight children ranging in age from one year old to 16 years. She ran the farm, and raised the children. Her husband George W. Anderson was born June 23, 1823 in Clay county, INdiana. He died Jan 17, 1963, and was buried in Hatch cemetery, Bourbon co, KS. No marker was found, but he was probably buried with a group of other Andersons in Hatch cemetery, who had crude markers made of Bandera...
