His memorial shows he was married to Elizabeth Neel in 1883, which is approximately 18 years before Eliza's death. Death of Mrs. E. E. Sayre Mrs. E. E. Sayre died between 11 and 12 a.m., September 4, at her home in Osceola. She had a server relapse after a lingering illness during the summer, from which she did not fully recover, and lived but a few days. Her maiden name was Saffell, and she was born in Virginia, 69 years and 18 days before the date of her death. At 15 years of age she moved to West Virginia with her parents, and there when 20 years old, married David Sayre. The pair moved to Osceola in 1856, thus being very early pioneers, and it has been their home ever since. Mr. Sayre died nineteen years ago. Mrs. Sayre leaves five living children, and three have died. The living are W. C. Sayre of Warren county: Wesley, of Texas: A. J. of Harvey, N D, John L, of Hiawatha, Kansas and Mrs. Rena McKeever, of Sisseton, S. D. Her brother, Marion Saffell, near Lacella, also survives her. She was a consistent member of the M. E. church. Her disposition was quiet and retiring, and she is affectionally remembered by many friends. The funeral services are being held as we go to press at the M. E. church, at 2:30 p.m. Thursday. The remains will be interred in the Osceola cemetery. Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Sayre and son: Mrs. McKeever and two children, Mr. W. C. Sayer, Mr. John L.
