Crabbs, aged 72 years, a resident of Allen county for practically her entire life, died this morning at the family home in Lafayette township, death being due to paralysis, following a brief illness. Mrs. Crabbs came to Allen county with her parents, when a mere child, and had resided in Lafayette township ever since. She was a member of the M.E. church for many years and was also a member of the W.C.T.U. chapter at Roanoke. Mrs. Crabbs is survived by the husband and six children: Mrs. J.A. Moore of Bippus; Wilbur Crabbs, Ohio; Elgie L Crabbs, Huntington; Clemmie G. Crabbs, Mrs. G. E. Dennis and Mrs. J. C. Nussdorfer, all of Roanoke. Sixteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Abby Chancy, Roanoke, and one brother, Isaac Gaskill, Fort Wayne, also survive. The funeral services will be conducted at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Roanoke. M. E. church, followed by burial in Roanoke cemetery. 1850 Washington Twp., Rush Co., IN.
