Description	:	OBIT: Death of Mrs C H Streit. Mrs C H Streit died last Saturday afternoon at her home on the south side. Her death was expected for some time, owing to her enfeebled condition. The deceased was conscious of all that was going on about her up to within a few hours of her death. She made all preparations for the funeral and her wishes and requests were carried out as desired. Mrs C H Streit died last Saturday afternoon at her home on the south side. Her death was expected for some time, owing to her enfeebled condition. The deceased was conscious of all that was going on about her up to within a few hours of her death. She made all preparations for the funeral and her wishes and requests were carried out as desired. "The funeral was held Tuesday from the Ringgold church, Rev R H Thompson of Broken Bow, conducting the service, and the remains were laid to rest in Fairview cemetery. The floral tribute were profuse and beautiful, being tendered by the Knight of Pythias, Modern Woodmen, Rebekahs, ladies' aid society and also different individual gifts of flowers. Mrs Streit was generally beloved by the entire community, and her death is keenly felt by all with whome she came in contact. "Eliza Jane Anderson was born Dec. 25, 1845, in Butler county, Ohio, and moved with her parents to Indiana when 7 years of age. In June 1868, she was married to George Acheson. To this union were born 6 children, three of which survive her, Mrs Robt. Mundell, Mrs. Martin Jenson, and John Acheson. January 1, 1882, she was married to Charles H. Striet, to which union 3 children were born, 2 surviving her; Mrs Charles Sandquist and Mrs Geo. Miller. The deceased came to Nebraska in February, 1891. When but a child she united with the Methodist church of which whe has always been a faithful memb
