Description	:	Eliza "Jane" Buckner Blohm was the first of four children born to Auda Ethel Mishler and Loren David Buckner. Her siblings include: Russell LaVerne "Happy" Buckner, Lois Ollivene Buckner (m.Durward B."Buzz" Farver) and David Ora Buckner. The family were hard-working farmers, farming the land of Loren's parents, and then the Harley Alt farm. Besides farming, Jane's father dug and cleaned wells. Eliza "Jane" married Earle Raymond Phares, Jr. They had one daughter, Kathryn Jane. Two sons, Russell Emmert Blohm and David Charles Blohm were born to their union. Emmert was "Dad" to Kathy, caring for her as his own. Emmert Blohm worked for Hans Sorenson, southwest of Hamlin, Iowa, and then worked for Elmer Carlson, while living on Elmer's farms. Later, he started farming for himself on one of Clark Arnold's farms. In 1971, Emmert and Jane bought the Leonard Ditto farm in Melville Township where he farmed and raised cattle.
