She was united in marriage to Isaac C. Baker July 1st 1869. She had twenty five grandchildren. All the children are living except five. Four died small and Cora died 19 years ago, the 26th of next January. Her husband departed this life July 10th 1890. Her children are all married. Lola was the last to leave the home nine years ago. At that time she broke up house keeping and made her home amongst her children. Mostly with Mr. and Mrs. Mont Baker. She was one of whom everyone love who knew her. She was a loving wife and mother; a hard working woman, kind and good to all. She joined the Christian Church several years ago and lived a true Christian life. The children were all at her bedside at her sickness and all that loving hands could do were done, but it was God's will that she be taken to rest. Besides the children and grandchildren she leaves one brother, Isaac Hattabaugh of Boise, Idaho and two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Denny and Mrs. Mary Pollock of Vallonis; together with a host of friends and relatives who sorrow to give her up but our loss is her gain..."
