Eliza Jane Taylor Laughlin, daughter of Joseph and Adaline Taylor, was born in Tuscarawas County, Ohio, Apr. 8, 1838, and departed this life April 7, 1920, at her home in Olivet, after a week's illness of a complication of diseases and old age. She was married to William Laughlin, April 25, 1861. To this union six children were born, three sons and three daughters. Church in Ohio at the age of fifteen, and has lived as a Christian all her life. She is survived by three children, G. H. Laughlin, of Olivet; J. R. Laughlin, of Oskaloosa; Mrs. C. M. Coryell, of Leighton; by two brothers, H. A. Taylor, of Uniopolis, Ohio; Wm. Taylor, of Lima, Ohio, and ten grandchildren.
