Description	:	OBIT: The funeral service of Mrs. W.H. Anderson was held in the Methodist church Wednesday, the Rev E.W. Day officiating. Interment was made in the Highland cemetery. Eliza J. Walker was born in Fayette County Indiana, April 29th, l857, and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Walker, in Ottumwa, Iowa, August 28th, 1916, being fifty-nine years and four months of age. Walker was born in Fayette County Indiana, April 29th, l857, and died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Fred Walker, in Ottumwa, Iowa, August 28th, 1916, being fifty-nine years and four months of age. She moved with her parents to Monroe county in 1859, since which time her residence has been in Monroe County. Her first marriage occurred on January 29th, l879, when she was united in holy wedlock to Mr. Jobn W. Nell, who was separated from her by death, leaving three children, all of whom are now living; Mrs. Fred Walker of Ottumwa, Iowa, Mrs. T. E. Moran of Marshalltown, Iowa, and Mrs. George Scribner of EddyvilLe. She was united the second time in marriage, on Sept. 13th, 1891, to Mr. W.H. Anderson, who is left, together with one son and three daughters to sense the pain of parting with a devoted wife and loving mother. These are James W., Katherine, and Georgia, who are residing at the parental home, and Mrs. Thomas Martin of Hiteman Iowa. Besides these, she leaves five sisters, Mrs. Sophia J. Smith at Summitville, Indiana, and Miss Sarah Walker, Mrs. Martha A. Brunt, Mrs. Jesse Lanning and Mrs. John Lanning, all of whom are living in or near Eddyville. Her church connections have been with the Methodist And United Brethren churches, the latter being her church home for the past twenty-five years.
