As she was born March 10, 1835, she was 55 years of age at the time of her death. She was one of the pioneers of this county, coming here in 1856 and preempting their present home. She was a woman of more than ordinary ability and was highly respected by all. She was one of the prime movers in organizing the Congregational church at Camp Creek and was... Read More	DEATH: Nebraska City News June 6,1890 Louisa, wife of David C. Walter died at her home ten miles south of Nebraska City, May 31, 1890. As she was born March 10, 1835, she was 55 years of age at the time of her death. She was one of the pioneers of this county, coming here in 1856 and preempting their present home. She was a woman of more than ordinary ability and was highly respected by all. She was one of the prime movers in organizing the Congregational church at Camp Creek and was always ready to do all in her power to advance the cause of the church.She leaves a family of three sons and four daughters. The funeral was held this morning at 10 o'clock, the remains being interred in Lee's cemetery. ( Now Known as Camp Creek Cemetery.)
